The Ferrier Gas Plant is a refrigerated lean oil absorption processing facility and receives sweet rich gas from local areas wells.
The Ferrier Gas Plant has diverse
midstream capabilities, including:
Gas plant capable of processing sweet natural gas, NGL fractionation facilities linked by pipeline to storage, rail and truck offload facilities, NGL truck-in which allows fractionation of otherwise stranded NGL loads, storage facilities with pipeline links to market and extensive pipeline networks to facilitate transportation of raw natural gas to the gas plant
Within the facility, the gas is dehydrated and sent to sales via a TransCanada pipeline while the rich components are extracted into liquid product streams, including propane (C3), butane (C4), condensate (C5) and a stabilized solvent that is capable of removing hydrocarbon buildup (FXII). A fully metered truck rack and storage tanks exist onsite for receipt of NGLs, crude oil and condensate products allowing processing of products from other facilities via the Ferrier fractionation train.
Lochearn Load
The Lochearn Loading Facility is located at 03-20-39-7W5, which is approximately fourteen kilometers from the Ferrier Gas Plant. The Lochearn Loading Facility receives and loads spec butane and propane product from the Ferrier Gas Plant. A load rack exists to offload product onto rail cars at a Canlin owned 16 car rail siding. In addition, an automated truck loading system is in place for sales to more local markets.
Mercaptan odorizer can be added to products as necessary.
