Reporting to the WCH Production Coordinator, your key accountability will be the safe and efficient operation, care, and control Canlin production assets. The field operator will be responsible for all aspects of gas and oilfield operations in a safe and effective manner including operating sour gas wells, field compression, pipeline pigging, plunger lift systems, monitoring chemical rates, all contributing to a safe working environment for Canlin. You will be required to provide direct guidance and support to consistently meet or exceed expectations in the following areas; production, operating cost, corporate values, environment, health and safety, training, regulatory and emergency response.
The Plant Chief Power Engineer will be responsible for establishing a strategic action plan to support the execution of the Plant Foreman’s operational goals and objectives. Reporting to the Plant Foreman, this role will be required to also perform the plant chief duties as required by ABSA regulations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Hanlan Robb Gas Plant. You will provide direct coaching, guidance, and support to operating staff and contractors to consistently meet or exceed expectations in the following areas: production; operating costs; policy administration; corporate values; environment, health, safety & training; regulatory; community relations; and emergency response.
Reporting to the Plant Foreman, the Lead Gas Plant Operator will be responsible for all aspects of gas plant operations in a safe and effective manner. You will provide visible leadership and instill engagement, performance, and accountability. You will ensure staff and contractors conduct their operational activities in compliance with Canlin standards, programs, and government regulations. You will support the Plant Foreman and liaise with departments including health and safety, auditors, drilling, completions, lease construction, facilities construction, environmental, land and other stakeholders such as regulators, producers, processors, and landowners. This position will follow a 7-7 schedule.
Reporting to the Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for day-to-day production, operating activities, and field maintenance for combinations of oil and gas wells, waterflood, battery and gas compression facilities. You will ensure contractors conduct their operational activities in compliance with Canlin standards, programs, and government regulations.
Reporting to the Edson District Production Coordinator, your key accountability will be the safe and efficient operation, care, and control Canlin production assets. You will be required to provide direct guidance and support to consistently meet or exceed expectations in the following areas; production, operating cost, corporate values, environment, health and safety, training, regulatory and emergency response.
The Field Operator will be primarily responsible for day-to-day activities in relations to production, operating costs and maintaining the field to Canlin’s Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards in a cost-effective manner.
This is a full-time Corporate role based in the Calgary Head office, and consists of a 5-day, 40-hour work week with weekly field supervision required. This role supports the entire Canlin organization as a rotating equipment advisor and is also responsible and accountable for routine rotating equipment maintenance in The Wildcat Hills District, Central District, East, and Hanlan.
This role will be the primary technical and commercial contact between internal and external stakeholders, focused on the Foothills Region of Alberta. Reporting to the Manager, Production Engineering this person will provide strategic and technical evaluation on a variety of internal and external opportunities including production optimization, plant and gathering system debottlenecking and cost optimization. This role will require both technical and commercial skills, a solid understanding of Production Operations and Infrastructure, a strong working knowledge of Joint Venture Agreements and excellent negotiation skills.
